Quick start Guide & FAQ v1.0:
In order for you to get started, we would advise that you register an account with us. Registration is free! Once you have set up your account you may begin browsing and ordering the components you require. Each component is organized in a certain category. For example, if you are looking for additional memory for your computer and you know the standard it uses (for example DDR2-800) you would look under the "Memory -> DDR2 - > DDR2-800 and view the modules. If you have no idea what standard your computer uses but would like to know how you can upgrade your computer you can contact us using the details on the "contact us" page and we will walk you through the process of helping you find out so we can upgrade your computer
Shipping and Payment Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
1. Where are you located?
We are located in the Fourways Area, in Johannesburg.
2. I see you have the shipping option but I would rather want to come and collect my products from you directly. Is this possible?
Yes it is. Firstly, make sure that we have the product on-site from our suppliers before coming through by calling us.
3. What are your payment options?
We accept EFT/Internet transfer payments as well as bank deposits. Please note that in order for us to process the order we require the amount to reflect in our account.
4. Why won’t you accept the proof of payment as soon as I have payed for the product?
We do accept the proof of payment but for security reasons and fraud prevention, we still require the actual amount to reflect in our account before placing the order with our suppliers.
5. I do not live in Johannesburg at all. What if I live in Cape Town/Durban/Port Elizabeth for example and would still like to order equipment from you. Is this possible?
Yes, SkyServ ships anywhere in South Africa.
Computer Ordering/PC building:
1. All these parts confuse me. I have no idea what some of the components are but all I want is a working computer. What do I do?
We understand that some people do not know all aspects of what makes up the computer and want to use it out of the box. For this reason, we have made up a form in which you may specify what the computer is going to be used for. We will then recommend the cost-effective computer setup you will require to achieve your work efficiently.
2. Will you be able to assemble the computer for me once I have decided what I want?
Yes, we will assemble the computer for you but you will be charged a labour fee of R250
3. I want to order my components but I am worried about security, is this site secure?
Yes. We have installed a security certificate on the website to ensure you’re checking out or account creation process is kept secure, blocking out hacking attempts to get your credentials
